Gideon S. Adegbile, M.D.
Dr. Gideon Adegbile graduated from the Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee and completed his post-graduate training at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
Dr. Adegbile was Chairman of the Family Practice Department at Good Samaritan Hospital; the only African-American to serve as Chief-of-Staff at the Franciscan Medical Center and the first African-American to serve as President of the Montgomery County Medical Society. He has served as Chairman of the Family Practice section of the National Medical Association and is a past Board member of PriMed Physicians.
Dr. Adegbile is a member of the Ohio State Medical Association, the Montgomery County Medical Society, the National Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Professional Practice Association and several other medical organizations.
