Brian J. Fornadel, M.D.
Dr. Brian Fornadel, Board Certified in Family Medicine, graduated from Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed residency training at the Miami Valley Hospital Family Practice Residency program.
Dr. Fornadel is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Ohio State Medical Association and the Montgomery County Medical Society. He is a part time faculty member at the Miami Valley Hospital Family Practice Residency and serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor through Wright State University School of Medicine. Dr. Fornadel completed the Physician Leadership Program at the University of Cincinnati College of Allied Health.
Dr. Fornadel is one of only a few physicians in Ohio who received recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance in both their Heart/Stroke Recognition Program and in the Diabetic Physician Recognition Program. The programs were developed in conjunction with the American Diabetes Association and the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association to recognize physicians who demonstrate that they provide high quality care for patients with diabetes and patients with cardiac conditions or who have had a stroke. This recognition has been awarded for three years as of January 31, 2006.
Dr. Fornadel grew up in Cleveland and is still a fan of the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns, but as an Ohio State alumnus, he also enjoys Buckeye football. His personal interests include biking, tennis, reading and cooking.
