John E. Mauer, M.D.

Dr. John Edward Mauer, Board Certified in Internal Medicine, graduated with honors from the Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California and completed his residency at Kettering Medical Center. Dr. Mauer graduated Cum Laude from Columbia Union College.

Dr. Mauer is one of only a few physicians in Ohio who received recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance in both their Heart/Stroke Recognition Program and in the Diabetic Physician Recognition Program. The programs were developed in conjunction with the American Diabetes Association and the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association to recognize physicians who demonstrate that they provide high quality care for patients with diabetes and patients with cardiac conditions or who have had a stroke. This recognition has been awarded for three years as of January 31, 2006.

Dr. Mauer is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, American Society of Clinical Pathologists, the Ohio State Medical Association, the Montgomery County Medical Society and Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Mauer resides in Kettering with his wife and four children.
