Robert Joseph, D.P.M., Ph.D.
Dr. Robert Joseph graduated from the Scholl College of Podiatry at the Finch University of Health Sciences in Chicago, Illinois and performed his Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Joseph received a Ph.D. in connective tissue biochemistry from Rush University in Chicago where his research expertise is in cartilage biology and osteoarthritis. Dr. Joseph’s research interests include diabetic limb salvage and reconstruction as wells as the development of wound healing adjuncts. Dr. Joseph’s past research has been awarded over $300,000 in funding and has received recognition including the Steven W. Toth Distinguished Service Award of the American Public Health Association.
