John F. McCarthy, M.D.

John F. McCarthy, M.D., Board Certified in Family Practice is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, the Montgomery County Medical Society, the Ohio State Medical Association, and the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. McCarthy graduated from the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine and was a resident at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Dayton, OH. Dr. McCarthy received his undergraduate degree in chemistry from the University of Notre Dame, Indiana.

Dr. McCarthy has received recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance in both their Heart/Stroke Recognition Program and in the Diabetic Physician Recognition Program. The programs were developed in conjunction with the American Diabetes Association and the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association to recognize physicians who demonstrate that they provide high quality care for patients with diabetes and patients with cardiac conditions or who have had a stroke.

Dr. McCarthy is married with three children and resides in Centerville, OH.
