Kwabena Owusu-Dekyi, M.D.
Dr. Kwabena Owusu-Dekyi graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his residency in family practice at the Franciscan Medical Center. Dr. Owusu-Dekyi received his undergraduate degree in chemistry and biology from the University of Indianapolis.
Board Certified in Family Practice, Dr. Owusu-Dekyi is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians, the Ohio State Medical Association and the Montgomery County Medical Society.
Dr. Owusu-Dekyi has been recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance in their Heart/Stroke Recognition Program. This program was developed in conjunction with the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association to recognize physicians who demonstrate that they provide quality care for patients with cardiac conditions or who have had a stroke.
Dr. Owusu-Dekyi received the Epsilon Sigma Alpha William and Fern Groves Hardiman Research Scholarship and was also noted as "Who's Who" among students in American Universities and Colleges.
