Julio C. Soto, M.D.
As a Family Practice physician, Dr. Soto is experienced in caring for patients of all ages, with additional training in surgery and urology, and a focus on men’s health.
Dr. Soto believes that in order to be a good physician, it’s essential to build a rapport with patients. He encourages one-on-one, open communication in order to understand each person’s health concerns and to discuss it in simple and straight-forward terms.
After earning his undergraduate degree from Florida International University, Dr. Soto received his doctorate degree from the Ross University School of Medicine. He completed an interim year of general surgery at the University of Vermont’s College of Medicine and a clinical fellowship at Emory University’s School of Medicine through the Department of Urology at the Atlanta VA Medical Center. Dr. Soto’s residency training was in Family Medicine at the University of Toledo’s College of Medicine and St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee, Ohio, where he was also involved in clinical research in men’s health.
Dr. Soto is board-eligible in Family Medicine. His professional memberships include the American Academy of Family Medicine, the Ohio Academy of Family Medicine, the International Society of Men’s Health and the Sexual Medicine Society of North America.
Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Dr. Soto is fluent in English and Spanish. Although an avid Dolphins football fan, he is excited to be cheering for the local teams. He and his wife Elizabeth have one son.
