Lawrence Udom, M.D, M.P.H.

Lawrence Udom, M.D, M.P.H. has extensive healthcare expertise and is trained in Family Medicine, Sports Medicine and Psychiatry.

Dr. Udom believes the doctor-patient relationship is the foundation of medicine today, and he fosters that relationship with his patients. Recognizing the synergy between mind and body, Dr. Udom focuses on both physical and emotional health.

Graduating with honors in Biology from the University of Minnesota at Moorehead, Dr. Udom went on to earn a Masters in Public Health from Boston University. He received his medical degree in 2005 from Albany Medical College in New York.

Consistent with the mind-body connection, Dr. Udom completed his residency at the University of Cincinnati’s Family Medicine/Psychiatry program and a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Riverside Methodist Hospital/MAX Sports Medicine in Columbus, Ohio.

Dr. Udom is licensed in Ohio and triple board-eligible in Family Medicine, Sports Medicine and Psychiatry. His professional memberships include the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, and the Association of Medicine and Psychiatry. Dr. Udom has functioned as a team physician for several high school and college sports teams, including Otterbein University in Columbus.
