In our commitment to "treating you well," PriMed routinely participates in clinical research programs that have the potential to benefit those who take part. These important studies are working to establish new ways to prevent, detect, and treat diseases.
We are proud to have a role in a COVID vaccine study. If the study is successful, it can pave the way for a vaccine to save countless lives by lessening the pandemic's spread. We will be one of 60 locations throughout the U.S. working on this vaccine study. We earned the opportunity to be part of this much needed study because of our prior experience and success in vaccine research.
Here are details on PriMed's COVID-19 vaccine study.
PriMed Clinical Research is recruiting 250 individuals from across SW Ohio to enroll in a study intended to prove the safety and effectiveness of a COVID-19 vaccine. If the study is successful, this could be the first or one of the first vaccines approved for the prevention of the virus.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report more than 4.6 million cases and 154,000 deaths in the US due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
