Meet Dr. Claire McDowell
Dr. Claire McDowell is a highly skilled pediatrician, dedicated to providing exceptional care for children and their families. As the Chief Medical Officer for our Pediatric Division, Dr. McDowell brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate approach to every patient.
Dr. McDowell earned her medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine and completed her residency at Dayton Children’s Medical Center. She is a proud member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, continually staying on top of the latest advancements in children’s healthcare.
While she was born in Anchorage, Alaska, she has called the Miami Valley home for most of her life. Beyond her professional life, Dr. McDowell understands the joys and challenges of family life as a devoted wife and mother of two children. She also enjoys theater, reading, gardening, and cooking, always prioritizing precious time with her loved ones.
Dr. McDowell is dedicated to building trusting relationships, guiding your family through every stage of your child’s health journey with clear, caring, and expert guidance. She is currently accepting new patients.
