Meet Dr. Kara Szlag

Dr. Kara Szlag is a dedicated pediatrician who is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care to children and their families. She values helping children and their families develop healthy habits from day one, working hand-in-hand with them to become healthy adults.

Dr. Szlag earned her medical degree from the University of Louisville in Kentucky before completing her residency at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and was recognized in Dayton Magazine’s “Best Docs” of 2025 for her commitment to excellence in care.

Outside of the office, Dr. Szlag enjoys hiking, kayaking, reading, and spending quality time with her family. She is currently accepting new patients.
