Meet Dr. Rogelia “Sonny” Amisola

Dr. Rogelio “Sonny” Amisola is a dedicated physician specializing in adolescent medicine with a passion for helping young patients achieve optimal health.

Currently practicing at Dayton Children’s Medical Center Lipid Center, he has extensive training in the treatment of adolescent gynecological disorders, eating disorders, and lipid and obesity disorders. Dr. Amisola is also an active investigator in PriMED Clinical Research, contributing to advancements in medical care.

Dr. Amisola earned his medical degree from UERMMC in Quezon City, Philippines. He went on to complete a residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, New York, where he served as Chief Resident. He then completed a fellowship in adolescent medicine at Schneider Children’s Hospital in New Hyde Park, New York. As a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Society of Adolescent Medicine, Dr. Amisola stays at the forefront of developments in his field.

Outside of his practice, Dr. Amisola enjoys traveling, practicing martial arts, and participating in endurance sports. He is currently accepting new patients.
